How you fit verify your profile for Deriv?
If you never verify your account, you fit update these personal information for your profile, under the “About you” section:
1. Start to verify your account
If you don already verify your account and you wan update your address, you go need to contact support to change am.
For your profile, you fit also check the status of these things and update dem:
Follow di instructions wey dey for screen to take selfie. Make sure say your face dey clear, dey well lit, and dey for di middle.
3. Upload your identity document
Select di kontri wey dem issue your document, den choose di document type. Upload clear photo or scan of your document.
Documents wey we accept include:
- Official identity card or driving licence
- Valid passport
Make sure say di photo of your document show all di corners and text clearly, wit no glare or shadows.
4. Verify your address
You get two options to verify your address:
- Enable GPS on your phone make we fit confirm your residential address automatically
- Submit your proof of address documents
Option 1: Enable GPS
If you enable GPS and allow Deriv to access your location, dem go verify your address immediately.
Option 2: Upload proof of address documents
If you choose to upload documents, you go need to:
- Confirm your full residential address — e suppose match di proof of address document
- Upload proof of address (maximum file size: 50MB)
- Use file formats wey we accept: JPG, PNG, WEBP, or PDF
Address documents wey we accept:
- Valid ID wit address details
- Utility bills (electricity, water, gas)
- Bank statements
- Letters wey government issue
Important: Your address document must get date wey dey within di last 3 months.
5. Accept di terms of use and FATCA declaration
Once you don submit your documents for verification, you go need accept di terms of use. Read di terms and FATCA declaration well, and confirm weda you be a politically exposed person (PEP).

You go receive an email notification once your verification don complete. If dem approve am, you fit begin fund your account and trade immediately.
