Spot trading lets you buy and own the actual cryptocurrency. With futures, you trade a contract that tracks the price instead of owning the coin. All futures contracts on Deriv Exchange are perpetuals (no expiry date), and everything (margin, profit/loss, fees) is settled in USDT.
No hidden fees. Spot trading is 0.10% flat. Futures is 0.02% or 0.05% depending on your order type, charged in USDT. Transfers between your wallet and exchange are free.
