In line with this belief, Deriv partnered with Restos du Coeur, a respected French charity providing regular food distribution to those experiencing homelessness. By working together, they aim to ensure more people have access to basic necessities and support.
Community wellbeing: Delivering essential food and hygiene products
In July, Deriv volunteers bought 500 euros worth of donations, including food items and essential hygiene products. To ensure dignity and choice, they thoughtfully arranged tables and displays, allowing individuals to select the items that best suited their needs. Beyond donations, the volunteers offered a warm welcome, serving hot coffee, tea, and soup, and taking the time to connect with attendees and provide comfort beyond the basics.
Listening and learning: Insights that drive social impact initiatives
At the event, Deriv volunteers engaged closely with both those seeking assistance and the Restos du Coeur volunteers. These conversations provided invaluable first-hand perspectives on the daily struggles and pressing needs faced by people experiencing homelessness. The stories and feedback gathered are helping shape Deriv’s future approach to social responsibility, inspiring plans for expanded community initiatives that reflect the realities and priorities of those we serve. Guided by the lessons learned, the team is already developing new projects that build on the positive outcomes of this collaboration, staying true to Deriv’s commitment to sustainable impact and social good.

Deriv’s support for vulnerable communities reaches across borders and continues year-round. Dubai has recently focused on supporting individuals with special needs. The Deriv team volunteered, joining the students for arts, crafts, and even some sports activities.
